I had the pleasure of photographing The Broadway Dinner at Las Iguanas in Cambridge — an unforgettable event filled with music, laughter, and high energy. Organised by a team from Manchester, the evening featured singing waitresses performing beloved musical hits from Grease, Mamma Mia, The Greatest Showman, and more.

The atmosphere was electric. Diners clapped, sang along, and even danced between courses. As a fan of musical theatre myself, I found it impossible not to tap my foot and quietly sing along behind the camera. It was a fantastic experience to document such a joyful evening — and a real highlight of my recent work as an event photographer in Cambridgeshire. At one point, the entire restaurant was on its feet — singing, dancing, and clapping along. It was pure joy to witness and capture, and the atmosphere was like a live musical unfolding right around the dinner tables!

Events like this are a reminder of how powerful live entertainment can be. And for me, capturing those genuine moments of fun and connection is what event photography is all about.
